CAC CA-12/13 Boomerang

Special Instructions for using the Boomerang with FSX plus SP2 only

Although the Boomerang was developed for use with FSX plus Acceleration only, some users with just the SP2 update have reported that the Boomerang is fully functional with SP2, using the following modifications. There is no guarantee that the testing was exhaustive or that every issue was found, but so far the users indicate the Boomerang works perfectly.

Instructions: Quite easy to do!

1. Open the aircraft.cfg and change the turbocharged= 0 to 1,  and up the critical_altitude= to 26000 or so. ( This will give you close to ball park performance without the supercharger which isn't modeled in sp2.)

2. Increase the max_design_mp= 44.8 to 50

3. Open your C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Gauges\CA-12 folder, and then open the pots.xml gauge

4, In the pots.xml gauge, change the following numbers:

(A:RECIP ENG MANIFOLD PRESSURE:1, inHg) 52 > to 45

(P:Local Time, seconds) 90
